summer night length Submitted by hanataka on Sat, 27/10/2012 – 03:00
I am a Japanese Glorantha fan, and have a minor quetion.
According to “the Glorious Reascent of Yelm” and old sources, summer night is short, and winter night is long.
But, in “Pavis: Gateway to Adventure” p.381 say about the Lightfore, “it moves fastest in winter (when it is also brightest) and slower during the long summer nights.”
Is this a simple error?
Or is it something of a Gloranthan secret?

Thanks for spotting that

The Guide correctly says
“Because of the different night lengths throughout the year, it moves fastest in summer
(when it is also brightest) and slower during the long winter nights.”
It was an error and will be corrected in future reprints.
