There don’t seem to be official rules for Tapping in HQ2. How should I represent it in my games?
Keep it simple

This can be done by stating the outcome in framing the contest, tapping against a resistance, leaves the target in a state of adversity, the Sorcerer gets a lingering bonus. Bonuses don’t stack.
As with all spells, they should be narrow in scope, so the old RQ3 guidelines are helpful. I’d have some new Tap spells, like Tap spiritual essence, Tap morality, etc just for fun, as well as the old ones – but not Tap POW, there’s no equivalent.
