Questions

What’s the scale for this map and are the other maps in the homelands chapter the same scale?

A few things to bear in mind, firstly the maps in the core rules weren’t based on Greg’s originals but on previously existing maps. The new Northern Sartar map which is in the starter set is based on Greg’s originals and as a result is the most accurate map we currently have. To get you an accurate scale I’ve overlaid both maps and then aligned them the best, I could, then cropped the scale out of the Northern Sartar map and left it behind on the core route map. It’s not an exact fit. But it is to scale here. The other maps are indeed the same scale.

Here is the scale separately for you to place:

*

Morokanth Tribe (page 121)
Change
Correction

This is due to ignorance: they do not know of the Survival Covenant, and they have not experienced the hard life of the plains of Prax, nor or they would know of the desperation that drove men and beasts to risk becoming herd-things in return for a chance to survive at all.

The tribe is originally from Dragon Pass, founded in 1420 by Derik Pol-Joni to protect Old Tarsh from the nomads.

Climate (page 122)

The start of this section says “Prax was beloved of Eiritha and was fertile and pleasant, but she gave its essence to aid the Storm Bull against the Devil. Now, little grows here”.

To me this sounds wrong, or at best misleading. It reads as if it was Eiritha blasted the whole of Prax instead of the Devil. Eiritha was responsible only for the devastation of the Dead Place, wasn’t she?

Quote

Eiritha then lent him all her Power, and, where he had lain, the land lay withered and was forever the Dead Place.

The Dead Place is where he lay (where his heart laid actually – look at its shape) and it was transformed into what it is now. Eiritha lent him all her power. She along with Storm Bull, Ragnaglar, Wakboth, the Death of Genert, Tada, Yamsur, Seolinthur and all the unnamed sons of Storm Bull were together responsible for the laying the land wasted. It was pretty much the final effort to save the world, but at what cost.
