Note

Please note that many mythological names in this book are contradictory, some intentionally so. Adventurers encountering them, may find other names for them.

The Monomyth

Myth: The Seven Hells

“… At the outskirts of this realm are the Courts of Silence, where Daka Fal judges the dead. …”

Shouldn’t that be “is the Court of Silence” (singular)?

It can be either. As an otherworldly place, it has no identifying signage, and as such has varied in usage many times.

Mythic Maps

Memb
  • Memb: “This kingdom in the Kingdom of Enlightenment is ruled by the Emerald Ring Dynasty. (IM)”
  • Memb: “This large region is ruled by the Emerald Eye Dynasty. (IM)”

Is the change of the Dynasty name between the Middle Lesser Darkness and the Late Lesser Darkness intentional, or is this an error?

Intentional. Different Ages, different dynasties.

Empire or Kingdom of Brilliance

“… Whether known as the Golden Empire, the Kingdom of Brilliance, the Artmali Empire, or the Kingdom of Logic, the world knew a great, vast empire …” But in the Golden Age section of the Mythic Maps chapter on p.87 (PDF) it is the Empire of Brilliance

So shouldn’t it be Empire of Brilliance in the Monomyth Chapter too?

No. The first entry gives a number of possible name for the Empire, the second is from an in-world document (Stela Corpora). They can be different.

Catalogue of the Gods

Gark’s Runes

Gark has Chaos, Harmony and Undead, but in the Prosopaedia has Undead, Stasis and Chaos.

Both are correct.

Gloomshark’s Runes

Gloomshark is listed with runes Chaos, Beast and Water, but in the Prosopaedia has Undead and Water only.

Different aspects of the same god. Much like Mallia only has Chaos when worshipped by broos, when propitiated has only Darkness and Death.

Ompalam’s Runes

Ompalam is listed with runes Fate, Harmony and Chaos, but in the Prosopaedia is listed with runes Man, Stasis and Chaos.

Both are correct.

Universal Cult Format

Subcults
Clarification
Clarification

Subcult is short form for subservient cult-  sub(servient) cult.
