Multiple spell bonuses
You never add the magic bonus of one spell then use the multiplier of another.
Use the multiplier on the base value, then add the bonus.
The same applies with augments
If I have Bladesharp on my weapon and I cast Fanaticism on myself, do I apply the Bladesharp bonus first and then multiply my attack percentage by 1.5
No.
or does the Fanaticism multiplier get applied first and then the Bladesharp bonus after?
Yes.
I’m assuming the former but wanted to get an official view on this.
You never add the magic bonus then multiply.
eg with Broadsword 60% and Bladesharp 2, it’s 60 x 1.5 = 90%, then +10% Bladesharp for a total of 100%.
I guess the same question applies to Demoralize too
yes, half the ability, then add bonus.
Normal maths would apply the multiplier first, so maybe that’s the way to go, Fanaticism/Demoralize first, then Bladesharp, augments, etc
Yes
The rune spell Berserker has a similar effect, and that one reads “The Berserker increases their attack skill rating by half again”, thus implying that the multiplication occurs first before adding other bonuses.
