The storm gods were the last of the elemental gods born, and they protested that they had been cheated of their power by those who came before. Many other spirits and deities joined in the protest, and collectively these rebels were termed the Young Gods. Most Lightbringers are included in this category, as are most storm deities, and many local demigods.
