Welt der Spiele GmbH (or WdS) was a game publisher located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Welt der Spiele has published the German version of several parts from Avalon Hill‘s RuneQuest 3 edition between 1991 and 1993. All RuneQuest 3 translations have been done by Lutz Reimers, a member of the Deutsche RuneQuest Gesellschaft e.V.
At the beginning it was a retail shop, which sold imported games. 1987 the Welt der Spiele GmbH has been founded. In August 1998 the company filed for insolvency.
Besides various role-playing games the company sold the German versions of board games from Gibson Games, Games Workshop and Avalon Hill.
