Was driving through Sartar this afternoon. We were east of Jonestown in the Cinsina Flats.
I have always pictured Sartar as a bit greener and more forested as well. it is early Darkness season after all! But remember Prax is only some 60 miles to the east.
Note that all of Dragon Pass is over 750 meters in elevation, and Sartar surrounds a small mountain range with its tallest peak over 3000 meters high. Sartar merges into Prax in its east – and there is nothing like that in South Germany, Provence, Appalachia, or New England. Dragon Pass itself is a very mountainous area, with several peaks over 4000 meters high (Arrowmound, Dwarf Hat, Ormfang, Greatway, and of course Kero Fin).
I do not see Sartar as being geographically or climate much like New England at all. Sure they both have lots of small fields, but so do lots of places.
