The Quivin Mountains are a massif of the Storm Mountains, a subrange separated from the main range by the 1000 meter high Sambarri Pass. The subrange is quite small, only about 35 km wide.
The highest peak is Quivin Mountain, at about 3120 meters. Other peaks in the sub-range include Hareva Peak at 2560 meters, Kesten at 2350, and Wild Mountain at 2210. Part of the mountain range is formed by the resting giant Thorgeir.
The city of Boldhome is built in a high valley of the Quivin Mountains, with a base of 1520 meters. Deeper within the massif is a small dragonewt city.
The Quivin Mountains are separated from the nearby Indigo Mountains by 50 km of hills and rock formations. The Indigo Mountains include several active volcanoes. The Storm Mountains extend another 150 km to the south.
