The Triceratops Queen is a priestess of an Earth Goddess who rules over a herd of triceratopses. From time to time, the matriarch of the herd selects a new Triceratops Queen based on unknown criteria. The new Queen then forms a bond with the matriarch triceratops. For the seven years that the priestess is in the role of Queen, she and the matriarch share an empathic bond similar to that between a priest and an allied spirit. The current Triceratops Queen is a comparatively young Maran Gor priestess named Yoranbora. Perhaps the most famous Triceratops Queen was Arene Thunderqueen, a granddaughter of Onelisin Saronil’s daughter, who commanded the triceratops herd to destroy Janastan.
