The Third Council of the Lands of Genertela (aka the Empire of the Wyrms Friends or the Kingdom of Dragon Pass) was formed in 826 and ruled over most of central Genertela at its height.
Unlike other empires, the Third Council was ruled by a council. Although most records of the EWF were lost in the calamities that ended the Second Age, it is thought that the Third Council resembled the First and Second Councils. It likely had 7 or 13 members (there are conflicting reports), with each member representing one of the elements or powers of the world. They had, at least initially, a strong Lightbringer affiliation and were in communication with the dragons.
To date, no list of the members of the Third Council is known, although there is some speculation that both Isgangdrang the Diamond Storm Dragon and the Sun Dragon were members.
In 889, the members of the Third Council demanded to be worshiped in place of the traditional Lightbringer deities.
