Both the EWF and the God Learners are a subject of interest in the Hero Wars – especially for the Sartarites.
And both can be a source of adventure ideas. For example, we know that Argrath is interested in learning how to communicate better with the dragons – we all know that the EWF was able to defeat and conquer the Dara Happan Empire, and if we could once again work with the dragons, the Lunar Empire could be overthrown! The GM Adventures already gives your players an in-road into draconic secrets and gives you a few options for draconic mentors.
Meanwhile, Kallyr Starbrow has chased off Orlaront Dragonfriend, which is another source of adventure and potential mentoring.
We know that Argrath has begun assembling his magical union, a small collection of Rune priests, Rune Lords, and shamans hand-picked by Argrath and taught magical secrets by him and his household. Members learn to work together, despite belonging to different cults. Members are taught Arkati secret lore and may even learn some draconic magic. Each such use slightly affects the human’s personality and soul.
The Free Philosophers no doubt are interested in exploring the Clanking City – just being able to see some of these machines might result in remarkable tools for fighting the Lunar Empire. Of course the sages are not going to go into the ruins – but they are certainly willing to hire your adventurers!
And so on. As the Hero Wars progress, the incentive for the Sartarites to to learn draconic magic and God Learner techniques is just going to grow ever greater. Just as the incentive for the Lunars to make use of Chaos is going to grow ever greater.
So it’s dragons and God Learnerism against Chaos. Plus a whole lot of experimental heroquesting, non-human allies, weird spirits, and more.
When/why/how did Kallyr exile Orlaront? She exiled him because she was horrified by what the Dragonrise meant in actuality.
Which Elder Races would generally aid which side in the Hero Wars? The beast people, trolls, dwarves, dragonewts, and elves are all going to get involved, one way or another. So do the giants, broos, ducks, and more.
