And the announcement is live! The first set of the RQ Cults books are at the printer!
The Cults Books are a series of books about Glorantha cults and mythology, and will include (among other things) over 100 long-form cult descriptions. These books opens up RuneQuest in ways never possible before, and presents the mythology and culture of the setting in ways never before possible.
And they are INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL thanks to Loïc Muzy, Agathe Pitié, Simeon Cogswell, Katrin Dirim, Ossi Hiekkala, Lionel Marty, Antonia Doncheva, and so many others!
This has been the biggest project I have worked on since the Guide to Glorantha itself, probably actually bigger. Watch the video, ask questions, but now I can talk freely about it!
This is the culmination of the work Greg started over 50 years ago, and that he and I have worked on for decades. And has been my main project since even before RQG launched. So there is a lot there.
These are all intended for players, gamesters, and the casual readers of creative mythology and world-building.
BTW, the poem read in the video by the amazing Josephine Christiane McAdam is “Glorantha” by Greg Stafford, and it describes Greg’s vision and hopes for Glorantha. I think it is pretty darn special.
