Here’s another neat map showing the area around Glamour and Raibanth. I believe Nick and company used this as the base of a map in the Rough Guide to Glamour. Note how close Glamour and Raibanth are – around 20 km apart. It really is a Seleucia-Babylon or Baghdad-Ctesiphon kind of thing.
Something else I find neat – the Crater is about half the size of the Shadow Plateau or roughly the size of the Quivin Mountains.
And as an aside, don’t think of Rome or Babylon when you want to imagine the countryside. Think of Nebraska:
And it greatly amuses me to associate Raibanth with Omaha!
