It takes just under two weeks for a caravan to go between Swenstown and New Pavis. That will take you along a route that goes to Pimper’s Block, Days Rest, Tourney Altar, Bigglestone, the Paps, and across the Long Dry.
I figure that has got to be one of the best introductions to Prax you can have – and likely thousands of Sartarites have made that trek.
One thing I find interesting is how close the Dead Place is to Swenstown. You can no doubt see it on a clear day from Boldhome – a white alkali sea.
What about the route to the north of the Dead Place, joining the Pavis Road that leads into Torkani lands? No water. With a train of mules the route with water is to be greatly preferred over the one without.
