This small village of twelve households is a secondary settlement of the Ernaldori Clan of the Colymar Tribe. It is best known for its dwarf-built watermill, which grinds grain for the local villages. There is a shrine to Ernalda here.
The settlement basically is the watermill plus a dozen farms. The mill is a valuable asset of the Ernaldori Clan and I suspect belongs to the Clearwine Earth Temple and assigned to a family to operate.
Greenbrass is about 2 km from Clearwine Fort – you can see the Fort from the hamlet. It is on the far side of the Nymie “river” which is a 16 km long non-navigable stream. The Nymie Vale covers about 300 km2, and home to about 3700 or so people. Almost half the population of the vale lives in Clearwine Fort.
There’s a mill, a little shrine to Ernalda, and some residential buildings and related farm buildings. And that’s about it.
There’s maybe 165 people tops in Greenbrass. It isn’t self-sustainable – it is best thought of as a little suburb of Clearwine Fort.
If we think about the Nymie Vale, remember it is only about 300 km2, and half the population lives in Clearwine Fort. There are perhaps a half-dozen or so villages and hamlets scattered around, with Greenbrass being one of the smallest. There are also numerous isolated farmsteads. But you can easily walk from anywhere in the valley to Clearwine Fort in the morning and come back in the late afternoon.
Is the mill horizontal or vertical? Given that it is a dwarf-made mill, it might be either.
