Vengeful, violent, and ruthless are how most people view the Tarsh Exiles. The Tarsh Exiles are known to revere the grim Earth goddesses and offer human sacrifice to goddesses of Earth. Their women take and display body parts (particularly heads, scalps, hands, and genitalia) as war trophies. They refuse to accept outside rulers and hate the Lunar Empire. They are notorious as heavy drinkers, who are passionate and violent while drunk.
Old Tarshites are loyal to their clans and love both Maran Gor the Earthshaker Goddess and Ernalda the Earth Mother. They are devoted to Orlanth as King of the Gods, who lives in the clouds around Kero Fin Mountain. Their culture is often violent and bloody, yet they are warm and hospitable to guests and friends.
