Notes on Seseine

Posted on August 10, 2022

A few notes on Seseine:

GODDESS OF TEMPTATION

An intense desire for some object, emotion, or state of being can lead a person to use evil or corrupt means to gain such. Such vile, overwhelming passion is incited by Seseine, who rules demons of desire, succubi, and similarly horrible creatures. The goddess wields her great powers with temptations that trouble both Life and Chaos alike, and her powers take equally from both.

MYTHOS AND HISTORY

BEFORE TIME

The oldest stories list Seseine as one of the tilntae, the children of Uleria. She brought desire, pleasure, and excess, and aided the unions of elements and powers that gave birth to the burtae that populated the cosmos. In that innocent age of creation, she brought love and attraction wherever she went.

Seseine thrived on the overwhelming passions of the Gods War. She aided the Sea Gods in their invasion of the world and is sometimes named a sister of Serelazam. She aided and incited the Artmali and the Vadeli both, and many others desired her.

However, when the Devil brought utter annihilation, Seseine knew fear. She submitted to Chaos and pledged to aid it to preserve her existence. Seseine tempted others to join with Chaos, and created new hybrid things that combined Life and Chaos. She aided the Filth-Which-Walks to invade the southern lands, and narrowly escaped destruction at the Field of Jaranpor. Pamalt exposed her hollowness and Seseine fled, abandoning her lovers and followers.
