The Pure Horse People are the most devout Solar nomads and are found in Pent, Erigia, and the Grazelands. Among them, all clan chieftains and many tribespeople are Yelm Initiates. They also worship Hyalor and Hippoi. They have no Yelm Imperator subcult, but the Golden Bow is very important for them. The Pure Horse People herd only horses and never practice agriculture.
In the First Age, they served as a priestly caste and claimed descent from the Hyalorings. Unlike the other horse tribes, they continued to herd only horses and did not live in cities. They revere Dendara as Yelm’s wife.
In the modern era there are three Pure Horse Tribes. Two are quite large – the Char-un of Erigia and the Julin Marsk of Pent. Much smaller are the Grazeland Pony Breeders of Dragon Pass, who have changed their society dramatically since they left Pent in the Second Age, and now revere Ernalda (represented by the Feathered Horse Queen) as Yelm’s consort. Nonetheless, they maintain their status as Pure Horse People and their connection with Yelm.
