This btw is the map we used as the touchstone in making our huge maps of Glorantha. The number of times Colin was forced to overlay this map probably caused permanent sanity loss (most recently a couple of days ago in creating the Royal Roads map).
The topography in the area of Seven Foals Vale looks pretty different in the AAA. Why is that?
That’s because Greg’s map is a terrain type map and our map is an elevation contour map. They are going to vary somewhat (the Seven Foal Valley and its surrounding hills are all within about 3000 to 3999 feet in elevation, which means the Valley does not get distinguished. The gorge is from a closeup of the Grazelands Greg did. You can see some reference to it in the cascades south of Smallboat.
