Eurhol’s Vale & Other Tales (2007)

  • by Penelope Love
  • Published by The Chaos Society 2007
  • 192 pages, Trade paperback size, Full colour cover.

Glorantha is a place filled with stories of adventure and dangers. This book tells four of them:

EURHOL’S VALE
Eurhol´s Vale is haunted by a wild beast and chaos monsters. Three strangers take it upon themselves to bring peace to the region. A prequel to ‘The Widow’s Tale’, in which the wild beast, Eurhol, is tamed; the first adventure featuring Talloran Snakeeyes, Arqua the Silent, Rulk of Kree and Shisanna.

DOWN THE RIVER
A wild duck chase down the Zola Fel river in search of the Governor’s laundry. A not so serious approach to gloranthan adventures. Talloran, Arqua and Rulk have supporting roles in this Pavic farce.

THE HARROWING
A distinctly darker tale which stages one last showdown between Talloran and Darlath-Lar on an unexpected battlefield.

WOLF AND ZEBRA
An epilogue to the cycle concerning the sons of Aoael and Heal-All, as the terrible events of ‘The Widow’s Tale’ sets the fates of even those who were not yet born.
