Aranwyth
A member of the Swenstown city ring, the Aranwyth are more pastoralist than most other tribes in Old Sartar, and much of the tribe is semi-nomadic. They are dependent upon their sheep and horses. They hate and fear the Telmori, who often hunt their herds and are known for their dislike of trolls. They also have a friendly” rivalry with the Kheldon Tribe.
During the Lunar Occupation, the Aranwyth did not participate in Starbrow’s Rebellion and were largely ignored by the Lunar Provincial Government and even took two clans from the Culbrea with Lunar approval. This state of affairs lasted until 1621, after which demands on the tribe grew greatly. Jonatos Trolsbane has been king since 1621, devoting himself to the defense of the tribe against trolls, Telmori, and Praxians.
