One of the things that really got me down the right path for the look of Orlanth is to look at how thunder and lightning were depicted in ancient religious art. So we have Near Eastern, Tibetan, Hindu, and plenty of Greek depictions. Note how similar this is in the depiction of the thunderbolt and also if you squint, many of them have the Mastery Rune!
