Notes on Fronela III

Fronela is a fascinating land – not just culturally and mythologically, but in terms of geography and climate. Valind’s Glacier is on the northern edge of Fronela, a colossal ice sheet. It forms a wall between 150 and 600 meters high, and below it is moraine, glacial lakes, etc.

Fronela has cool to cold winters and cool summers, but has very fertile soil thanks to the rich glacial till. Rye grows easily here, especially along the Janube river and further south.

Much of northern Fronela is covered with boreal forest. The Black Forest is an exception, a mixed forest of deciduous trees and conifers.
