It’s about 45 km from New Pavis to the Sun Dome Temple. That’s a little further away than the distance between Swenstown and Boldhome. It takes about two days to get there by foot, or about three or four days with wagons.
That’s not far and it is fair to say the communities are in constant contact. There’s even a small but significant autonomous Yelmalio community inside New Pavis, with its own priests and rune lords but acknowledging the authority of the Sun Dome Temple.
Now something else interesting, at least to me – it is only about 65 km from New Pavis to the Redwood Forest.
The River of Cradles creates a fertile strip about 20-30 km wide, which can support a rich grassland.
