Other lizard-like people exist near Dragon Pass, but claim a different ancestry than the dragonewts. These included one family which had been cursed, one which had grown from crocodiles, one which were children of a goddess’ pet, and another which refused to give any story. These each had their own native quirks, but which were not mentioned in specifics.
In addition, there are many small dragonewts settlements far from Dragon Pass which claim to be remnants of a long-destroyed Dragonewt empire form before the Gods War. In Ralios, there has long existed another dragonewt colony linked with Dragon Pass through the teleportational gates into the Dragons Eye.
All of these, as well as the oddities mentioned above, have at times been hired by the dragonewts or others of Dragon Pass.
