Jar-eel, Harrek the Berserk, and Argrath pose for some Jon Hodgson concept art for the forthcoming RQ Campaign Book.
What I immediately loved about it is Jar-eel’s ethereal beauty, Harrek’s massiveness, and Argrath’s adventurous cockiness.
I’m interested why the RQG has taken to showing Jar Eel in Gold (Bronze?) Armour. I would expect to see her in Runic Silver or Runic Iron? Jar-eel is far above such petty RQ mechanical rules. Her Great-Grandfather is Yelm. Perhaps she is wearing armor he gave her.
Bare-chested is definitely Argrath’s style. He’s spent much of his life in Prax and on the Oceans.
