where we were i’d um i’m gonna move the scene here

um forward about a week um and the scene is

uh in boldhome and we may have to do some back some back uh flashbacks here but let’s

just kind of set things up here it’s a week after the great battle of the

queens um and Boldhome the the valley is filled with

uh many small uh armed camps of the various tribal groups that

participated in the battle so um you guys remember how Boldhome is

laid out it’s in this big high alpine valley and then there’s some built up

areas and you guys had previously been camping um

uh in uh down below uh the the kingsport it may not be possible at
1:48
this point because there are now thousands that i mean there are several thousand um tribes spoke

that are also having that same grand idea because all

of the we got the place already well you left that place didn’t you not all of us we had still our camp we had

our uh the missionary got the guys who went there on the rituals and stuff they’re

all still there staying hanging out okay okay so so but but i would want to

just to the the feeling here in baltimore is it’s filled with

um chieftains and um

uh petty warlords and a couple of tribal kings and what uh and what not

all all who have marched here in force into the town or into the city

and of course there is no prince uh the Chalana Arroy priestess were never

because of course you know she’s been to the underworld and back

a powder cake and there is nothing that unifies these

various camps the biggest of the groups are of course the Colymar

uh and the Colymar are one of the few large groups that still have a

a single defined tribal leader and that’s uh

like a black sphere uh and laika is trying

very much to uh impose her authority over all of the

camps um and i’ll let people make an insight roll if they want

the other tribes many of the other tribes are having nothing to do with this but hers is the biggest group and

there’s a guard of Colymar tribesmen up near the flame of sartar

which is currently extinguished and that’s where Kallyr’s body is

and but most of them are over for the Colymar tribal area which is in part of the

um in in the i think it’s the right-hand valley it’s one of the bigger of the the tribal

manners so you’ve got all this going on now of course you all have been quite

richly rewarded after the battle your booty

beyond the the the items that you took from the the dead learners

there you were given shares in in the booty

and the uh in the in this regard laco has been very generous to you all each of you all she

says that you are a thane of the Colymar land and that the tribe is giving you

and the whole idea there are with peop those people who have been making insight roles

in terms of this merely because he knows his main loyalty somewhere else

i mean keep in mind five heights of land is a lot of land that’s enough to support

orlanti politics work is they that uh you have the these prominent people

each tribe tries to make a claim on them and the only tribe that can really make

a a strong cl this tribe that can make the strongest claim is of course the tribe that you

so i uh it’s gonna be kind of up to you all what you all want to to do there’s a lot

of assemblies though going on in in Boldhome and and again to give an idea how

right assemblies work is you basically have everybody

who is a a full free person coming with everything they can claim and and you

armed you know to be able to basically show that that they are that you have to

listen to them because they’re armed they’re they’re armed to the teeth um and they’re the

folks that fight the wars and the women show that the women that show up

they try to they they emphasize that they are the

the the source of the land and the source of the riches and

you have all of these folk and at the assemblies that are going on bolt home there’s no one in charge

um he doesn’t feel that he should be inserting himself in the same way he knows that he can talk in and

you know he’s got that weird projection maybe he had operatic training um he can you know

booming voice increases charisma with his soul remaining rune point but

he’s felt a lot like an outsider if that makes sense while we’re here even you know the politics that he’s he’s got

family ties but the politics are not his and i liken this a lot because when as a meal

you know when he traveled back uh to england multiple times to see my family granted you know

i wasn’t english anymore if that made sense even though i was born there and my ties were

there right and i think for Nisk it’s he actually feels that quite differently he has no recollection of

but they were basically you know they they’re probably if you look at them closely they’re not even greatly done

because i don’t even know who did them because his initiation right see what’s in column

so so so for him he he doesn’t he feels kind of reserved from it and steps away

a bit this is not how our graph works and his whole life as an adult is uh being mentored on how or our graph runs

you know other people might not be as thrilled about their being you know in what used to be their fields
