going to give the recap of the last session beforehand so i’m just going to volunteer richard because he had

a a lot going on this session oh so this this will be my second in a

row i’ll point out that’s okay so you won’t do the next one okay so uh after spending another week

with the uh stumble berserkers at the block um where nisk was being fated

and we were genuine generally sort of enjoying ourselves we headed to

the pabs oh no we stopped on the way i wonder where you do you remember where

you started we stopped yeah it’s a good question

i i remember i didn’t think he was wasn’t it yes i believe he stopped at a a temple

started for a short while at a temple to hume act possibly

i had to give you i had to let you into my graveyard because i threw you out i

that was so i went and gave an enormous gift to whom

where gina was not especially happy with the company and as gina has a tendency to do kept

alive it really is you know that entire scene i was i all that was running through my

head was the uh the old uh soundtrack to the television show oh mash you know the song

suicide is painless well i can take or leave it as i choose

um and then we headed to uh the pats to the great earth temple there

uh where we went well most of us went down into the uh deep underground

actually no only gina did only gina went i thought didn’t and carla go

no okay only gina went into the deep underground to uh pay her tribute to

uh kai torre ty quarter and uh emerged even more determined to

make us all kill ourselves um

we also killed some hyenas that was good

uh and now we are heading back to paris and to

rubble right but we also commissioned a white sable

um used to get the spirit in when we get back okay and and i did a little bit more

thinking about what that um actually takes the the form of looking uh looking like and

it’s basically it’s a small clay ceramic um

image of a sable probably hollow you know made out of of

fired clay that has been painted white and has some some magic aretha symbols

put on it aretha is the goddess of of the herds so you have this this nice

little cute bit of uh uh kitschy ceramic i visited the pabst and look at

the cool trinket i’m bringing home so you know you got that going for you

all right so with that um the the the trek back from the paps goes

and and we’ll just narrate this um hopefully through fairly quickly

is it goes over the uh aritha hills uh which are about you know they they

they are they’re pretty good sized hills they go up to 450 400 meters

above but they’re not big mountains or anything you know they’re they’re they’re basically

high most of them are very dry but because you’re coming from the pabst

they give you permission to go over the trail that has grasslands through so it’s

basically it’s got a um uh a narrow valley with grass at the bottom

and so it’s uh because if i recall you guys are actually hurting a a sizable herd of animals at

this point how many is it well we trade we sold most of them but we did have i know i actually have two

animals i think everyone else has one but we also picked up another four in um at the block yeah

so you’ve got another six animals in total beyond your writing beasts uh at least five if not six yeah okay

so okay so it’s not a big herd but it’s still something that it’s probably a good

thing to be able to feed them and and water them every day

uh and you guys go through the aretha hills and this is all area and cola you know

this the the these hills are sacred to the praxion people you don’t

like your people get very upset when non-praxions are in this hill

except with with the permission of the priestesses of the paps yeah and no one defies the

priest this is one of the types no praxion no praxion defies the priestesses of the prax

uh of the peps the priest the priestesses of the peps uh and

it takes about a day to go over these hills and then you’re faced with the long

crossing the long dry and then on to the river of cradles this time of year

the long dry isn’t actually all that dry this is a dark season so you know there might

even be dustings of snow like in some of those pictures there certainly was snow oh in the urethra hills as you went

through it and you guys go across it and that that just the the one thing

that’s kind of worth storing behind is the long dry is an area that once once you enter

it there really isn’t any source of water until you get

on the other side hence the reason it’s called the long dry so

it is it’s a place that you wouldn’t want to get stuck in

for most of the year but there’s a

darkness season storm season sea season it’s it’s probably okay but fire season

earth season it’s um you know it’s it’s sand yep so so inadvertently we timed this

quite well inadvertently you timed this brilliantly for you all um you all the the final last thing that

i pointed out is you guys did get a fair number of gifts from the stormcon

there at the block you all got um if i recall a piece of true stone

like true stone to remind you what that is that is actually something from the

block so it’s a tiny little piece off the block that one way or another has come out and

they the stormcon has decided you all are worthy enough to have

a piece of the block so for them it is for the storm bolts that is a great

honor for you all i threw into the thread that it’s also got some mundane

and magical effects that are pretty significant and then after that the rest of the

gifts that these stormcon gave you were several animals another four

animals uh plenty of food water water skins uh et cetera so you all actually are

and then you just head across the long drive it’s two days across the long drive from the aretha

hills until you get to the steps um that ring papas county

they they’ve been running this with i can’t remember how many people did you um do you have on your five or six people

you know so there’s there’s there’s there’s these two there’s some others they make you know

stable stakes um all sorts of stuff but you’re finally

back at your your your big home i don’t know how well maintained the place is up

otherwise but it’s still there that’s it’s good enough for the stock you know

praxions drinking um and you all show up with your beasts

taking the house uh next to them and tearing it down for a good like grazing field or something have you seen

probably got another you know we could eventually figure out who’s further down on thane street but she you know

don’t think that’s gonna be a problem well what’s important is guaranteed

yeah if you get that going then the spirit maintains happiness but if you ignore

the spirit for too long of course what happens it’ll leave

it’ll leave and and and you will lose your contact with the white bull spirit

this guys is uh she is tech she is normally
