Ian Cooper and I were at the Etruscan collection of the Altes Museum in Berlin reviewing Gloranthan artifacts from Dragon Pass, the Holy Country, and Peloria. Here’s a nice selection of images:
A Dara-ni depiction of Lodril as the cross-dressing lord of the Underworld. Dancers from an Esrolian sarcophagus. An Esrolian noblewoman and her attendants. The bronze urn of a Sartarite king who died in battle. Note Humakt (misspelled as Mars) as the guardian of the Well to the Underworld, and the two warriors taking the king off the battlefield. Sartarite or Hendriki nobleman traveling by chariot. A Third Age depiction of the legendary Two Pair Heroes from the Theyalan Wars. A noble’s chest plate from Vanch. Part of the noble Vanchite panoply. A Holayan depiction of Vinga, from the Filichet temple. An Orlanthi warrior from Vesmonstran or Talastar.
