Oh Harald, I would be interested to see anything you have written, do you have my email?

Unfortunately, no, but Jeff and Rick have mine, so maybe just pick up mine from one of them?

We use some rules that Ray Turney wrote (BRP “like”). We play in the Lunar Empire. Its been mostly Carmania, but we are current switching characters and are now down in Vanch. In our timeline, the Lunar Empire, in addition to loosing a whole army to the dragon, is being attacked or threatened by the Charg Carmanians (we had the ban split Carmania and there is a culturally different Carmania on the other side of the Sweat Sea), the Sartarites, and the Pentans (who had pushed all the way to the Oslir before being pushed back). The Sartarites have taken Furthest and more. So the Empire is in a down cycle.

Though currently there was a quest to stop people from dying that ended up also stopping people from healing from your wounds (get stabbed in the heart? You have to “live” with a gaping wound in the chest) and nothing grew. It took the PCs more than a year to fix this and in the meantime the world went to hell in a handbasket. So currently there is a space between the Lunar Empire and Sartar that neither side has the resources to actually control.

I haven’t played an actual game in ages 🙁 I don’t have a gaming group around here and cannot find the time either. One day I still hope to be able to run the East Isles Hero Wars story line I have at least a vague idea for.

Well, for us it’s a long campaign ongoing. We started it -92 with a couple of ogres from around Snakepipe Hollow. After a few of years of chaotic lifestyle, characters happened by an old secret that revealed to be the secret of ogre-race from times before they were chaos-tainted. After a long years of furious, heroic gaming, they finally broke the curse and freed the ogre-race from chaos-taint. The epic struggle awoke the ancient ogre god and the Great Compromise was partially re-written as he yielded to Lightbringers. As a result, ogres were not anymore seen as chaotic race and even the Time slowed, adding two weeks to every Season, so our year is now 364 days. At that point, the characters were hero-level, so they started gathering followers. Now they are carving an ogre-kingdom in Elder Wilds, fighting against Tien’s army, now whole chaos god with head and everything, who assumed mortal form (but quite tough) to have his revenge and other rather obscure goals only an god understands. Our Glorantha year is 1624, Fire Season, and the Lunar Empire is beating down last Orlanthi resistance in Dragon Pass and I think they will succeed.
It’s quite clear we’ve got Our Own Glorantha, but as a GM, I find every piece of information about official Glorantha very interesting and this recent development is really, really great thing, as we’ve seen through long years of silence at nineties.

We are playing a game in Pavis/Prax, mainly because I had never run a game set specifically in that area.

The PCs started as Pavis nomads, with weak ties to both groups, but became linked to the earth by gaining various copper limbs, then became River Voices.

They have HeroQuested extensively and have just resurrected Tada! Their intention is to bring back Genert.

Minor goals that have come out of play include marrying the Zola Fel to Genert, preventing the Red Emperor from marrying Zola Fel and bringing back the Giants as a thriving race.
