If you’ve any queries about preorders – please ask in this thread.
June 27, 2014 at 2:59 pm #8223Howard FieldingSpectatorWhere can I find information about the coins? Can they be ordered, where and how much do they cost? Thanks!
June 27, 2014 at 3:15 pm #8226David ScottKeymasterThere were no coins in the Kickstarter, although there are some nice illustrations in the Guide:
Part 1 – http://www.glorantha.com/docs/coins-glorantha-2/
Part 2 – http://www.glorantha.com/docs/coins-glorantha-part-2-2/June 27, 2014 at 3:43 pm #8227Howard FieldingSpectatorI could have sworn I saw some physical versions that had been made, or was that just my wild imaginings?
June 28, 2014 at 2:23 am #8239Rick MeintsKeymasterPerhaps the coin confusion stems from the pictures I posted showing the the proofs for the Guide. In those pictures, to show the large size of the book, I used various currencies like a US $1 bill, a Five Pound UK note, and a 1 Lunar coin from the old days of Convulsion Convention and the Reaching Moon Megacorp. That coin is not part of the Kickstarter, merely a nifty remnant from a bygone age.
June 28, 2014 at 3:07 am #8240Howard FieldingSpectatorThat’s probably it. I think I assumed they were some reward mightier than mine, but now was thinking I might be able to add them on. My bad for not paying attention!
June 28, 2014 at 11:14 am #8249EklundSpectatorRegarding the map sets. I got some info from your Kickstarter page about them. I already pre-ordered the set with 24 maps, this will be perfect for gaming sessions maps.
If I understand correct, the 6 Poster Map Set of Genertela is the whole continent split up in 6 big maps? Is it the same map as the pretty large image of Genertela that was posted some time ago?
I would really like a high quality wall map, but was thinking of having one printed locally from a PDF map if it was possible. Is the map going to be available as a high resolution PDF for that type of printing?
June 28, 2014 at 1:19 pm #8257Philippe SigaudSpectatorI don’t think I ordered the maps during the Kickstarter (I bought the rest, though). Apart from the 6-maps pack for Genertela, could you please tell me if there is any other map that can be obtained?

Yes, there are the two map-packages available for pre-order.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/224590870/the-guide-to-gloranthaWhat are the 5 folded Genertela Maps for RUNE LORD/PRIESTS and above?
The Super-detailed Genertela map crafted by Colin Driver is epic. We know some of you would like to get it on a set of 5 (approx. 18″x24″) poster maps for easier use. We will fold them and tuck them into the Guide. Lay them out together on a table and you’ll have a 24″x90″ big view of it. As the number of backers getting these maps increases, so is the possibility that the posters will increase in size as well. These maps will not have hexes on them. What’s in the 11 inch x 17 inch Poster map set (+$95 add-on)?
This is a set of 24 color poster maps (11 inch X 17 inch) unfolded, rolled up together in a very sturdy mailing tube. These are the Colin Driver and Simon Bray geographical maps, the same ones already in the Main Guide and in the Argan Argar Atlas. We know some people prefer their maps not bound into a book, for easier use on a table, or to hang on the wall. These maps will not have hexes on them. This item will be shipped separately from the books.I think the Genertela map is the one here just in 6 parts and higher resolution of course.

June 28, 2014 at 2:46 pm #8262Philippe SigaudSpectatorI don’t know how I missed the 24-map package on this page! Thanks Charles.
June 29, 2014 at 6:17 am #8271CharlesKeymasterOK, there’s 2 different ‘Charles’ here now 😀
June 29, 2014 at 1:26 pm #8277Sean FosterSpectatorI’m a little confused about the Pre-order as opposed to those of us that went by the Kickstarter route?
When do the Kickstarter people pay? When do(did?) the Kickstarter pay & finalise the additional stuff they can get? How is the latter different from the pre-order?
Kickstarter seems to be down at the moment…
regards
Sean
June 29, 2014 at 1:36 pm #8278Howard FieldingSpectatorAs a KS backer you have already paid for your initial pledge. I think that now is when you decide you either want to upgrade your pledge or and some additional extras on. Myself, I am thinking of adding on the rolled map tube set of maps. I’m already getting the folded ones, but they will be much nicer w/o the creases! 😉
June 29, 2014 at 7:50 pm #8289ChlodowegSpectatorThe kick starter was given to me as a present. Is there a way I can check what level it was to see if I want to upgrade?
June 29, 2014 at 9:18 pm #8290EklundSpectatorOK, there’s 2 different ‘Charles’ here now 😀
Changed so it says I’m Charles from Sweden now, no confusion I hope. 🙂
