So who has it these days?
And what was so important about it?
(A treasure which King Darogaran got in Prax. He was killed when the Bison Tribe tried to get it back.)

It can’t be a major treasure of Prax on par with the Medicine Bundles if it made its way back to Prax. If it remained (hidden) in Heortling lands, it might grant its wearer some minor version of Harrek’s bear coat as Storm Bull magic, for instance.
September 25, 2013 at 1:16 pm #5938NiallSpectatorThank you
I’m still unclear why it was important in the first place though.
September 25, 2013 at 1:34 pm #5939Joerg BaumgartnerSpectatorAt the very least, it was a heirloom from an unusual tribal beast, and therefore a meaningful and religiously significant possession of the bisons that had no business being carried off beyond the Storm Mountains by a Heortling (from the bison tribe POV). It was exactly the kind of insult that can bring a Praxian tribe to invade the wetlands for retribution rather than just plunder.
September 25, 2013 at 1:44 pm #5940Jeff RichardKeymasterWhy was it important? This was a daring deed into Plaines of Prax, about a generation after the Dawn. The Praxians were Theyalans, which meant they raided each other, challenged each other, and so on, just like the other Theyalans did. In some stories, the Spotted Bison was the prize possession of the King of Prax, in other stories it was an ancestor god of the Praxians, and in still others, it was part of the regalia of the King of Prax. But given that the Praxians do not recall the story, the Garanvuli are long dead and gone, it is no more than a name now.
September 25, 2013 at 2:35 pm #5943NiallSpectatorExcellent stuff. My pc’s can go steal it back then….
September 25, 2013 at 3:09 pm #5946Jeff RichardKeymasterIf it still exists, after nearly 1600 years.
September 25, 2013 at 5:07 pm #5947NiallSpectatorDoes now. Bit mangy perhaps…
September 26, 2013 at 1:48 pm #5948Joerg BaumgartnerSpectatorI would start the search somewhere near the exit of the Footprint. There used to be Uroxi and their Aeolian counterparts stationed here, and they might have been able to use it. Besides, they surely wouldn’t mind the “bit mangy perhaps” bit.

Given that the Garanvuli were destroyed by the Bright Empire, it could be sitting in a box in Alkoth, in a ruin in sunken Slontos or even adorning a wall in the Plateau of Demons in Dorastor,
September 26, 2013 at 4:38 pm #5950David ScottKeymasterI go and see an Eiritha Shaman-Priestess (not a Bison Tribe one), get them to talk to the Spotted Bison Protectress. Your PCs could get a cool charm to help them find the skin and an even better taboo – Must return the skin to the Bison Founder.

In a ruin in sunken Slontos, in an Alkothi waterproof box….The one they find in Dorastor is obviously a fake….
September 27, 2013 at 11:21 pm #5966Evan HughesSpectatorSo the one that Pavic guy sold me in the pub wasn’t the real deal?
I’ll bloody well wring his neck if I get my hands on him!
