Hello,
the shop states that there should be an option to pay directly, however only the Pay-pall option is actually available.
Is this location dependent? I’m trying to preorder the Guide+Atlas from Europe, and would like to do this without going through Pay-pall(I don’t even have an account with them at the moment)June 26, 2014 at 7:31 am #8137PentallionSpectatorNo worries. Click on the Pay with PayPal and THEN – I know, not intuitive – the option to pay be credit or debit is available to the right of the new screen that pops up.
June 26, 2014 at 9:47 am #8146disenchanterSpectatorThere is nothing to the right of the PayPal options.
The only things visible are:
1.Order Summary
2.Pay with your PayPal account
3.Create a PayPal account
4.Cancel and return to Moon Design Publications
Tested on Chrome and IE, no adblock or similar addons.June 26, 2014 at 2:04 pm #8161CharlesKeymasterMy memory is that PayPal show different screens in different countries and almost hide the link to pay by credit card without having an account. But, in most countries, it is still possible to pay via PayPal – you just need to explore and try different options.

June 28, 2014 at 11:50 am #8253RachelSpectatorSadly the poster above is correct, this is the second time I have run into the Pay-Pal Wall recently in Hong Kong. The current options are only to pay through Pay Pal. A Pay-Pal account has to be set up even if you choose the credit card option. In the past I have been able to circumvent Pay-Pal.
I can assure you I will not open a Pay-Pal account under any circumstances. I suspect I am not the only one. Sad, as I grew up with Glorantha in the 80s. I was really looking forward to the Guide+Atlas. I was going to buy the hardcovers too.June 28, 2014 at 1:42 pm #8258disenchanterSpectatorWhile I might be able to resolve things between me and PayPal before the 7th, I really have to ask – is there a particularly good reason for making your transactions only through PayPal? Would it be much of a bother to offer an alternative?
