I get “502 bad gateway” messages instead of access to the goodies 🙁

Just wait a minute and try again. It can take a few tries because of the volume of downloads and size of the files.

“Error! SetaPDF_Error Object ( [message] => Cannot copy file /nas/wp/www/sites/glorantha/Products/ISS2006-VOL1.pdf to /nas/wp/www/sites/glorantha/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/stamped-files/ISS2006-VOL[…]”

I can post the rest of the message but it is alphanumeric code that I am not sure if tied to my account or not. I wouldn’t want to accidentally give everyone access to my pdf.

Did I do something wrong or is the Order Complete email I got not the email that says that my pdfs are ready to download?

I get a similar message. Is this a volume of downloads issue?

These errors are caused by size and volume of downloads. Your download speed will effect it too. Please be patient with us, you’ll have your treasure soon.

It being a case of size/volume of downloads I can live with. I just had not seen anyone reporting that issue and was afraid that I may have broken something on my account. Thanks for the quick reply.

A quick update concerning site issues with download traffic is up at the Kickstarter page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/224590870/the-guide-to-glorantha/posts/907238. The short version is you should be able to try again.
If you get a lot of 502 errors, please wait for about 10 minutes and try again, and always only try to download one file at a time.

Id be interested to hear when preorders can get grubby mitts on PDFs – sadly I couldn’t afford the KS due to starting a new job, but I nabbed a PDF option as soon as I could.

I hope to be able to grab a hardcopy once cash flow resumes normal operation

I ordered the Guide during the kickstarter as a member of the “Unholy Trio” option.
However, it was another of the Trio who placed the order. Now, is there any way I can download the PDF? I mean, the other guy could just sent his PDF to me, but I’m asking because I would like to get a more “legit” copy. My own copy of the PDF, I mean.

In case it helps someone – although I keep getting 403 errors for the links in the email sent out, I was able to download fine from the links in “My Account”. Took a little while, but worked.

Thanks Jeffrey, that helped me. I too was getting 502 and 403 errors clicking on the email links, but going to “My Account” and clicking on the download links worked on the third or fourth try. Worth the wait though !

Right now, the file for Vol 1 of the Guide does not appear to be on the server, or at least that’s the error I’m getting. Vol 2 and the Atlas downloaded successfully, though, and looking good.
