Hi guys

Reading through HQ:G and the Samastina’s Saga examples. On page 76 while engaging Craigspider on the first round Kris rolls a 6 on a 1W and according to the text scores a success. But is that not a failure (bumped to a success)?

If you mean this exchange:

Kris rolls a 6, and Claudia a 20, a failure bumped to a success versus a fumble.

It is: a failure bumped to success vs a fumble.

That was how I read it too. They just glossed over the fact that the failure had been bumped to a success. The numbers work out in any case.

Mmmh, Paul, I think you didn’t download the latest (05.05.2015!?!) version of the PDF where it is written:

Kris rolls a 6, and Claudia a 20, a failure bumped to a success versus a fumble.

The version from 17.04.2015 still had this written:

Kris rolls a 6, and Claudia a 20, a success bumped to a critical verses a fumble.

Thanks for that, I had downloaded the 17th & on the 20th (with corrected bookmarks) didn’t realise there was a newer one.
