The Yahoo “World of Glorantha” list archive is down right now, complete with flabbergasted face and “Oops! Sorry, an error occurred while processing the content” fail message.
This is presumably a temporary glitch in the Yahoo cloud environment but it does point to the need for people to pack up whatever they want to save from that era of fandom in the event that the next outage is more serious.
This is NOT a referendum on the wisdom of various IT platform choices. People talk where and how they like, and those decisions change with time. But if that chatter deserves to be recorded as Gloranthalia does, that recording needs to be backed up.
Links are live in Google cache if you want to salvage something today. I would kick in toward a long-term archival solution if needed.
