We’re laying the Heavens Corrupted section of the Guide out today. Here’s one of the ten Copper Tablets of Yuthuppa that illustrate the text.

Finally some indication what the “Orbs above the towers of the cities of Dara Happa” meant.

That position of Yuthubars (the tower on the hill) does have a certain resemblance to the Crater.

    Interresting comment Joerg.
Directions from Greg were only about what happen in the Sky. For the ground, I had to extrapolate from the various sketches from GRoY, depicting the Cities.
It is interresting as well to notice how the Cities cover all the Surface, which is not consistent with the “Mythology Maps” I made afterwards. Solar self centered representation.

Actually, there have been some such indications already in the Gods Age mythical maps. There is one showing a marshy island region in the southwestern corner that is called Land of Transformation (IIRC), another namy for Suvaria (modern Darjiin).

To me, this indicates that the topology of mythical eras is scalable – if you identify Yuthubars with the Spike, Suvaria gets identification with the swamps that separate modern Slon from Pamaltela. A God Learner approach to traveling the mythical maps would offer quite a few irregular jumps across the cognates of the mundane map in the mythical worlds by switching the identification of the central mountain between local cognates. An approach that might be used by the Chaos Creature switch that has put Broo into the Nargan and moved other creatures around to places where there have been no sightings of these in any recorded memories.

So, in this sense, there is a position of Alkoth south of the Spike, directly below the Southpath, and there might be a related hellhole/exit from the Underworld in northern Pamaltela. Possibly in Kimos?
