I see that several people have tried to reply to my post inthe Q/A forum, forgetting that only staff can reply there. So I shall ask here too 🙂 Do Mostali Heroquest?

I would say that they do. Mundane HeroQuesting would be to emulate the deeds of Mostal or his sons to make parts of the World Machine, to defeat those who would damage the World Machine and even to help those non-Mostali who would be able to help in repairing the World Machine. Other Place HeroQuesting might be used to find long-lost Mostali places, such as the Halls of the Mostali that were destroyed when the Spike exploded. Once those are accessed, they can be used to help repair the World Machine. Even going to other places might help the Mostali as they might see long-lost secrets that other people wouldn’t recognise as being Mostali in nature. Other Side HeroQuesting might be used to create a part of the World Machine that has been destroyed. Don’t forget that the World Machine is not just a collection of cogs and gears, it is much more complex than that. Myths, memories and people are all part of the World Machine. Making new myths, or rediscovering old ones, can help repair the World Machine. The raising of the Red Moon was said by the Mostali to be an indicator that the World Machine Project was on course. Simon Phipp.

Chark the Liberator, founder of Individualism is specifically described as having HeroQuested.
I think its regarded as a deviant practice by the Orthodox indulged in only by Openhandists and Individualists.
