As an aside, I often post notes or things that I am working on that I think people will find interesting or useful. But I am posting this material without edits or revisions – they are all notes or works in progress. If people really expect me to edit or revise such ephemera before I post it, I am probably not going to post such things.

New Chaosium House Campaign

Made up characters for the new Chaosium House Campaign – set in Glamour. We have a noble dilettante, a mystic spymaster, a Yelmic judge, a Jakaleel shamaness-in-training, and a Spolite Black Mage. Should be fun!

They sound like supervillains! they aren’t. They are merely members of a noble household in Glamour, loyal to the Red Emperor. The Empire brings peace, justice, and spiritual wisdom to the world. Even conflicts between the noble houses are restricted to Dart Wars that harm only the noble houses themselves, and leave the common citizen alone (and usually unaware that there even is a conflict).

Also they view the main threats to the Lunar Way being the White Moon Movement and the Voor-ash nomad confederation in the Redlands. Dragon Pass and the Holy Country is barely on the radar screen (“there’s always war with the southern barbarians, but they always war with themselves.”).

they are descendants of the Great Teacher Valare Addi. I’m sure they will do wonders!

Jason made the observation that pretty much any of our other party (Vasana, Harmast, etc.) could probably wipe the entire Lunar party out single-handed.

Moonson is Yelm Imperator. Illuminated Yelm priests can become Red Goddess initiates. Our Yelmic judge is a Lunar. There’s no conflict there. You must be thinking of how the peasants and commoners govern themselves.
